"Professor"M, even I can see that the question is pretty clear - the person obviously does not want a business account but a personal one - your response is one of the many similarly unhelpful responses I see on forums where "experts" don't actually provide help, but useless comments like yours.

James is right Professor, by answering in this way you are adding more frustration and confusion to the situation. The question is pretty clear to me (as it is the same as mine)... When you create a new email account and accidentally select "business" when you meant to select "personal" it sets up your account as a "business" account. If you do not want it to be a "business" account, is it possible to just switch it to a "personal" account. If so, how does one accomplish this? And if you don't have an actual answer or don't understand this very clear and pointed question, please refrain from answering.

I too would like to know how to change the email I selected to make business, to change it to a personal email. I selected business b/c I thought I would be able to use the google business for my fledgeling vinyl cutting business. but I don't have a brick and mortar store (I don't want my personal address to be used) so I can't verify my*business* address. I did not know that is how the account would work . So I CURRENTLY have a business account just as the person who first wrote this question, AND NOW we want to convert WHAT WE NOW wish we had NOT SELECTED "business" and KEEP THE EMAIL name we choose and make it a PERSONAL /INDIVIDUAL account. SO THIS IS POSTED in BUSINESS b/c currently that is what our email account is, a business one. SO IF SOMEONE could please help us be able to change what is a current business email (that was created THIS MORNING) to a PERSONAL email would be most appreciated. If there is somewhere ELSE ALSO to post this question, would be most appreciative

Has anyone ever found the answer to the question? I to want to know how to change a business email to a personal one, it was made by accident

I accidentally set up a business account/email, but really want it to be a personal email account. Is there a way to change the account/email to personal?
