"Notice of Class Action Settlement re Google Plus" from email: google-noreply@google.com legit?

I got an email from "
google-noreply@google.com" saying
"Notice of Class Action Settlement re Google Plus – Your Rights May Be Affected

You are not being sued. This notice affects your rights. Please read it carefully."

Is this a legit email?

Edit: This is real, read the comments I set as an answer for more information.

The link is still broken. I just received the email about this on the 5th of August. I have an older personal account and that one didn't notify me. I used the Defunct Google+ for my blogspot  and thought might as well apply.

I do not like that it is wanting me to give them my bank account and routing number.  If I had received a personalized letter or email with the access code, etc., then I would be ok with giving that info.  But just a generic email, I just don't trust it.

Yes, greed brings out the worst in people.

You need to blame the legal cockroaches who handled this case, obviously trying their best, but they were not good enough.

And please fix your keyboard, Caps Lock appears to be stuck.

I agree. My violation of privacy is only worth $5 to $12?????
I am NOT signing the agreement!
I will wait to see if anyone else files a class action for BIG dollars.
This is actually an insult!!
How much money do you think those people that Google sold our data to made???

I was filling out a claim form and it wants my bank account number and routing number.

Umm, they could totally drain me with that!

Your gut is wrong.

It isn't fake, confirmed as genuine by Google..

But what does it mean?

I received this email and I read it today carefully. This is seems to me a judicial trap from Google companies and partners. I know what costed to me, my friends and family have been targeted  with this behavior (They call "software bug" or "data sell", but I call by other names) of tech companies. The problem with this lawsuit is the own lawsuit. My mental healthy doesn't have a price and if it does, it doesn't cost the payment of attorneys and justice department, while injured people receives 5 up 12 dollars. I don't know what other people will do, but I'm gonna exclude my name of this lawsuit  (the only option we can choose for use our claims to sue Google in future) and study other options. Because, again, I know what my mental healthy deserves. And deserves a better explanation than this process that seems to me is only good for Google, involved attorneys and the justice department. All the world deserves a better explanations, and I really believe we are not gonna solve these problems with lawsuits. We need to rethink our relations with tech companies and their power to do anything with our lives, our memories and the most important, excluding us, real people, of the process in name of "security" and "privacy" but only for them and their "partners".
Google and partners, you can do better than this.
