When I ask Google a question it will not show on my screen suggest a restaurant or tire dealer

Thanks for posting in Google help forums,
Power saving mode Keep Off,
Check your Internet,
Check your microphone working,
Next, Open Settings ⚙️,
Select Apps Manager / Default Apps / System Apps / >>>
Select Google and follow the instructions and Uninstall Updates,
Open the link and Update from Google Play Store to get the latest version,
OR,
Open Google Play Store,
Select Google,
Install Updates,
Check Permissions,
Check / activate Web & App activities, Data & Personalization,
For visual effects,
Do not disturb keep On,
Allow unrestricted Data usage for Google,
Close all Windows,
Restart Device,
Wait some time for loading Settings /changes and Data
Next, Open Google from Apps drawer,
Select 3 dot menus at bottom right,
Follow the instructions,
For retain voice,
Check above Settings,
Open Google>>>>>> follow the instructions,
OR,
Install Google Assistant from Play Store,
Open the app and start,
After finishing you can use Assistant from any screen.
