Control what others see about you across Google services

You can make some information on your Google Account private, public, or shared with certain people. That way, you’re in control of who sees info like your birthday and phone number on Google services.

  1. Go to About me.
  2. Below or next to the info you want to control, select the icon. This icon shows who currently sees this info.
  3. Choose who to share this info with or select Private.

Note: Your name and photo (if you choose to add one) can be viewed by other people who use Google services, including when you communicate or share content.

Add, edit, or delete personal info

  1. Go to About me.
  2. In the section you want to change, select Edit Edit.
    • To add another type of info, on the bottom right, select Add Add.
  3. Follow the instructions.

Note: You can change other account info, like your password, in My Account.
