Enable or disable cookies

If you’re trying to use your Google Account and see a message saying your browser's cookie functionality is turned off, it’s likely your browser's cookies are disabled. You’ll need to turn cookies on to use your Google Account.

How to enable cookies
Google Chrome
  1. On your browser toolbar, select More More and then Settings.
  2. Near the bottom of the page, select Advanced.
  3. Under "Privacy and security," select Content settings.
  4. Select Cookies.
  5. Turn Allow sites to save and read cookie data on.

iOS Safari

  1. On your phone, tap Settings Settings.
  2. Tap Safari and then Block Cookies and then Always Allow.
  3. Wait 5 minutes and open the app.
