'Google email verification' message

If you've received an account verification email in error, it's likely that another user entered your email address while trying to create an account for another email address. If you didn't initiate the request, you don't need to take any further action. You can simply disregard the verification email, and the account won't be verified.

To prevent someone else from using your email address for a different Google Account, simply reset the password on the account.

If you accidentally clicked the link to verify the account, you may decide to use or delete this account. Either way, in order to sign in, you'll first need to reset the password.
