Some third-party apps or services, like social media, music streaming, and online shopping, let you link your Google Account to improve your experience. When you link your Google Account with a third-party account, the third party may send info to Google. The third party may tell you what kind of info they share with Google.

Delete a connection with a third-party app or service
Step 1: Check your Security page
- Make sure you’re signed into your Google Account.
- View the apps and services that are linked to your Google Account.
- Select the app or service that you no longer want linked to your Google Account.
- Under “Google has some access to your {App name} account,” select See details.
- Select Delete connection.
- Before you delete the connection, you’ll have a chance to review the third party’s Terms of Service.
If the third-party account whose connection you want to delete isn’t on this page, continue to Step 2.
Step 2: Check Google apps

Go to the Google app where you linked the third-party account with your Google Account. For example, the Google Home app, the Google Assistant app, or the YouTube app.

Select Connected accounts, Linked accounts, or Apps. This may be in the Google app’s Settings section.

Find the third-party account that you want to unlink from your Google Account.

Next to the third-party account you want to unlink, select Remove or Unlink.
If you can’t unlink the third-party account from your Google Account
Important: Some third-party accounts may not allow you to unlink your third-party account from your Google Account.
- Go to the third-party account where you linked your Google Account.
- Select a section like Apps, Connected accounts, or Linked accounts. This may be in the account’s Settings section.
- Follow the instructions from the third party to unlink Google’s access.
