If you can’t remember your Google Account’s username, these steps can help you find it.
Find your account
- Go to the username recovery tool.
- Follow the instructions. You need:
- A phone number or recovery email address for the account.
- The full name on the account.
- Confirm it’s your account:
- If you entered a phone number: Enter the code sent to that phone.
- If you entered a recovery email address: Check its inbox and enter the code from the email Google sent you.
- In the list of usernames that appears, find your account’s username.
If you can't find your username
- Try other phone numbers or recovery email addresses you might have used.
- There might have been a typo in your username when you created the account. To find out, try to create a new account with that username. If the username is still available, then your account’s username has a typo in it.
- You might not have a Google Account. Create an account.
