Manage your addresses in your Google Account

Learn more about the different types of addresses in your Google Account and how to manage them.

Home & work addresses

To personalize your experience across Google products, set a home and work address for your Google Account. For example, we can:

• Show search results near your home.
• Get directions to work.
• Show more relevant ads.

You can remove your addresses at any time on your Google Account.

Add or change your home or work address

1. On your computer, sign in to your Google Account.
2. On the left, click Personal info.
3. Under "Addresses," click Home or Work.
4. Enter your address.
5. Click Save.

Tip: Only you can access home and work addresses. If you want to make an address public on your Google Account, you can add it as a profile address.

Remove your home or work address

1. On your computer, sign in to your Google Account.
2. On the left, click Personal info.
3. Under "Addresses," click Home or Work.
4. Click Remove.

How addresses are added to your Google Account

When you add an address through a Google service, you can find and manage it in your Google Account.

Use your addresses

You can use addresses in your Google Account to:

• Autofill address forms when you use Chrome.
• Make a purchase from the Google Play Store.
• Pay for a Google subscription.
• Use Buy with Google Pay.

Add an address

1. On your computer, sign in to your Google Account.
2. On the left, click Personal info.
3. Under “Addresses,” click Other.
   • If you have more than one payment profile, select it from the drop-down.
4. Click Add address.
5. Enter your address.
6. Click Save Confirm.

Edit an address

1. On your computer, sign in to your Google Account.
2. On the left, click Personal info.
3. Under “Addresses,” click Other.
   • If you have more than one payment profile, select it from the drop-down.
4. Select the address you want to edit.
5. Click Edit.
6. Edit the address.
7. Click Save Confirm.

Remove an address

If you don’t want to use an address across Google services, such as autofill for Chrome or Buy with Google Pay, you can remove it from your Google Account at any time.

If you save the same address somewhere else in your Google Account, you may still find it there. For example, if you remove it from your other addresses, you may still find it in your Google Account as your:

• Home address
• Work address
• Profile address
• Legal address
• Billing address

1. On your computer, sign in to your Google Account.
2. On the left, click Personal info.
3. Under “Addresses,” click Other.
   • If you have more than one payment profile, select it from the drop-down.
4. Select the address you want to remove.
5. Click Remove Remove.

Profile addresses

A profile address is an address associated with one or more of your profiles. In some Google apps and services, you have a profile that’s visible to other people who use that service. Anyone can find this info when they communicate with you or check content you create in Google apps and services.

Billing addresses

A billing address is the address associated with your payment method.

Tip: To manage your billing addresses, go to change your home or billing address.

Legal addresses

Your legal address is the address associated with your Google payments profile.

Tip: To manage your legal addresses, go to change your home or billing address.
