Withdraw from your Google Account

As of May 28, 2022, European Economic Area (EEA) law gives consumers based in the EEA the right to withdraw from their Google Account.

To withdraw from your Google Account means to delete your Google Account, YouTube channel, and all associated personal data. This includes:

  • Any information you created or saved on Google Drive.
  • Your uploaded videos, comments, and purchases made on YouTube.
  • Music, movies, TV shows, and apps you purchased on Google Play.
  • Emails and attachments you sent and received in your Gmail.
  • Access to any third-party services you signed up for with your Google Account.

To delete your account at your own convenience, follow these steps.

If you want to withdraw from your account, submit this form so we know you own the account. Withdrawal requests are honored if the account was created in the last 14 days. For the latest info on your withdrawal rights, review your Terms of Service.

Before you delete your account, whether you withdraw your account through Google or delete your account on your own, we encourage you to download your personal data, as account deletions are irreversible.
