What’s new with TalkBack 15.2.1

Update to TalkBack 15.2.1 to fix an issue that prevents Explore by touch from working while “hide screen” is active.

Step 1: Turn off “hide screen”

Important: Before you update TalkBack, you need to turn off “hide screen.”

1. To open the TalkBack menu, three-finger tap the screen.
2. Through “Explore by touch” or swiping, find “Show screen.”
3. To restore the default Talkback controls, double-tap Show screen.

Step 2: Update TalkBack

1. To open the TalkBack menu, three-finger tap the screen.
2. Double-tap TalkBack settings.
3. To update TalkBack to version 15.2.1 or above in the Play Store, double-tap Open TalkBack at the Play Store.
4. In the Play Store, update TalkBack.
   • When the version 15.2.1 and above is installed, you can re-hide the screen.
