Q: I'm having trouble signing in. What do I do?

Q: Why do I get a page that says "Oops, looks like that link is broken" when I click a URL shared with me by a co-worker?
A: You may be trying to access content that’s not available to your account, including courses that may have been removed. Instead, sign in to Academy for Ads, then find the content by either using the search bar, or by navigating the catalog via the "Browse" menu.
Q: I changed companies, can I still access my achievements and certifications?
A: Yes! A great feature of Academy for Ads is that it allows you to take your achievements and certifications with you, no matter where you go or company you work for. They belong to you! If you've changed companies, please be sure to update your profile settings with your new company email address.
Q: I used to be able to take an exam in my language in the Partners portal but I don’t see that option in Academy for Ads. When will I be able to take exams in my language?
A: You can choose to take assessments in any of the 21 supported languages by changing your language setting in your Academy for Ads profile. We'll continue to evaluate adding additional languages in the future.
Q: Is there a limit to the number of times I can take an assessment?
A: There's no limit to the number of attempts you can make, but depending on the assessment you'll need a score of 80% or greater to pass. Keep in mind, if you don't pass, you’ll need to wait 24 hours before you can take it again. Also, questions load randomly to make sure you're paying attention!
Q: How can I move or merge my completed courses, learning paths achievements and certifications from one Academy for Ads account to another?
A: To move your data from one Academy for Ads account to another, you'll need to recover your previous Academy for Ads profile associated with your learning history into your main Academy for Ads profile.Before proceeding, make sure:
You've entered a recovery email addresses for both Academy for Ads accounts.
You're prepared for your merged account to be deactivated.
You're not merging an Academy for Ads account associated with a product-associated email address (Bid Manager, Campaign Manager, etc.). If you merge your product-associated account, you won't be able to access training content associated with those products.
To do this, follow the steps below:
Sign in to Academy for Ads using the email address associated with your main account (the account you want to merge your data into).
Navigate to the My Profile icon (a small circular icon in the top right), and click Edit Profile.
Scroll to the bottom of User Properties. Click Have an existing account? Recover Your Data.
On the Recover data from an existing account page, enter the email that you'd like to merge your data from and the existing account recovery email associated with that existing account.
Check your recovery email address for an email from “Intellum Account Recovery Process” firstname.lastname@example.org with a verification link (this should arrive within 24 hours)
Follow the steps in the verification email to merge your accounts. You'll see your active learning history in your user profile within 24 hours. Note: your recovered account will be automatically deactivated within Academy for Ads and deleted after 30 days. After deletion, a new account may be registered with the recovered account's email address.
Q: I noticed the following message below in my Profile page. Why do I need to select this? What happens if I don’t select anything?
A: The message is required by our legal team to be sure you are fully informed on how Google manages your personal information. If you select “No” (or if you leave both blank) we won’t be able to share your certification data with your company or the Google Partners program. If your company is participating in the Google Partners program this will negatively impact your company’s badge and/or specialization status. If you select Yes we will be able to share your data as stated below.
Share my Academy for Ads account information with my company:
Allow my name, profile, activity progress, enrollment information, valid exams, achievements, and certifications to be shared with my associated company in my Academy for Ads profile, and companies I’m affiliated with in Google Partners.

By opting in to sharing your information, you agree to give your company visibility into your profile, enrollment, achievement, or certification details for your Academy for Ads account. You can update your associated company and sharing preferences any time in your profile.
Q: How do I make sure my certifications are credited to my agency?
A: Please follow the steps below.
- From your Academy for Ads account, go to your Profile in the upper right of your browser and make sure you've checked Yes to sharing information with your company.
- In your Academy for Ads user profile page scroll to the “company email” field and enter the email address that you are using for your Google Ads manager account.
- Note: In Google Ads: Any user whose email has admin or standard Google Ads manager access to your company's Google Ads manager account (MCC), or sub-manager accounts, will be considered affiliated with your company and will have their Google Ads certifications count toward your company's badge and specialization status. Keep in mind: Users with read-only access may not contribute to your badge and specialization status.
Q: I’m a company admin in Partners and I used the Reports feature to monitor my affiliated users exam and certification status for my agency. Where can I find this information in Academy for Ads?
A: Academy for Ads doesn't currently support this feature. For now, we recommend that you directly contact your affiliated users to confirm their exam or certification status. We also recommend asking your users to link their training activities to your company by listing your full company's name and corporate email address in their profile, and opting into sharing their training data with your company.
Q: I used to be able to share my certifications to LinkedIn from Partners. Will the certification links still work in LinkedIn? How do I do that in Academy for Ads?
A: Unfortunately, Academy for Ads currently doesn't support the LinkedIn certification feature at this time. We are investigating adding this functionality in the the future. For now, sign in to your LinkedIn account and remove any references you have to your Partners certifications in the LinkedIn Accomplishments section of your profile, as those URLs will no longer point to your Partners certification certificates.Have other questions related to Google Partners? As of January 2018, all exams and certifications that were previously in Google Partners are now in Academy for Ads. Note that exams are now called “assessments” in Academy for Ads.
Q: How much does Academy for Ads cost?
A: Academy for Ads is available at no cost.
Q: Where does Academy for Ads fit among Google's education offerings?
A: With Academy for Ads, you'll learn advertising concepts for ads on Google in a fast, easy-to-use format. It can be a great resource for those looking to develop their advertising knowledge after using Help Centers, or training resources like Primer. Now you can earn achievements and certifications in Academy for Ads.
Q: Who creates the activities in Academy for Ads?

Q: Can I download the course content?
A: All content on Academy for Ads is available only on the site.
Q: Can I skip parts of the learning path that I'm well-versed in?
A: To complete each course, you'll need to answer the multiple choice questions at the end. If you're well-versed, you may be able to answer the questions without going through the content. Give it a shot!
Q: Who should I contact if I have a question about the Academy for Ads site or any of the training courses?
A: If you have any questions or run into any issues, just Contact us and our team will follow up within 24 hours.
Q: What devices and browsers are supported for use?
A: Academy for Ads works with all current web browsers, and it's optimized for all screens and sizes - including smartphones and tablets.
Q: How do I delete my account?
A: Sorry to see you go. Please contact our support team at email@example.com to delete your account. Keep in mind, deleting your Academy for Ads Account will not automatically delete your Google Account.
