Archive calls, text messages, or voicemail messages that you might want to reference later, or permanently delete them.

4.1 Archive calls and messages
To hide a call, text message, or voicemail message without deleting it, archive it. If someone replies to a conversation you archive, the message will appear again.
On a mobile device
- Open the Voice app

- On the bottom, tap Messages
, Calls
, or Voicemail
.
- Touch and hold the conversation, call, or voicemail you want to archive.
Optional: To hide multiple items, touch and hold the first conversation, call, or voicemail then select more items. - In the top right, tap Archive
.
Restore calls and messages:
- Open the Voice app
.
- In the top left, tap Menu

- Touch and hold the conversation, call, or voicemail you want to restore.
Optional: To restore multiple archived items, touch and hold the first conversation, call, or voicemail, then select more items. - In the top right, tap Restore conversations

On a computer
- Go to Google Voice.
- On the left, open the tab for Messages
, Calls
, or Voicemail
.
- Next to items you want to archive, click each avatar to select it. You can select multiple items at once.
- At the top of the list, click Archive

4.2 Delete calls, text messages, and voicemail messages
After you delete a call or message, you can't access it again. Currently, you can't delete multiple calls or messages at the same time. You have to delete each one individually.
On a mobile device
- Open the Voice app
.
- On the bottom, tap Messages
, Calls
, or Voicemail
.
- Tap a conversation, call, or voicemail to select it
More options

Optional: To delete multiple items, touch and hold the first conversation, call, or voicemail then tap more items. - Tap Delete
Tap the box next to “I understand”
Delete.
Important: You must delete each conversation individually.
On a computer
- Go to Google Voice.
- On the left, open the tab for Messages

, or Voicemail
.
- Next to items you want to delete, click on each avatar to select it. You can select multiple calls or voicemails at once.
- To delete calls or voicemails: At the top of the list, click Delete
Delete.
To delete text conversations: On the right of the expanded window, click More optionsDelete
Delete.
