Edit visuals in your presentation



After you add a visual, you might want to make further changes. With Slides, you can edit images without using any software.

In this section, you learn how to:

Crop images


  1. Click your image to select it.
  2. Choose an option:
    • Click Crop "" and drag the box where you want it.
    • To crop your image into a shape, click the arrow next to Crop "" and select a shape.
  3. (Optional) To revert to the original image, select the image and click Reset image Reset image.

Add borders


  1. Select an image, shape, or graph and click Border color Border color.
  2. Choose a color for the border.
  3. (Optional) Click Line weight Line weight to adjust the border thickness.
  4. (Optional) Click Line dash Line dash to change the border type.
  5. (Optional) To remove a border, click Border color Border color and select Transparent.

Adjust image color


  1. Select the image and click Format options.
  2. Choose an option:
    • Change the image size and position.
    • Choose a different color.
    • Adjust the transparency, brightness, or contrast.
    • Add a drop shadow.
    • Add a reflection.
  3. (Optional) To undo these changes, click Reset image Reset image.
    • To undo a drop shadow or reflection, uncheck the boxes.
