Enable Contact Sharing

As an administrator, you might need to turn on Contact Sharing for your organization's G Suite account. If people in your domain aren't seeing any global addresses in either Microsoft® Outlook® or Gmail, verify that contact sharing is on in the Google Admin console.

To enable Contact Sharing, you need to be a Super Admin or Services Admin, or have Services - Directory - Settings privileges in a custom role. See Assign administrator roles to a user or Create custom administrator roles for instructions.

  1. Sign in to your Google Admin console.

Sign in using your administrator account (does not end in @gmail.com).

  2. From the Admin console Home page, go to Menu Menuand then Directory and then Directory settings.
  3. Click Sharing settings and then Contact sharing.
  4. Select Enable contact sharing and save your changes.

For more information on the global directory, see Turn the global Directory on or off.
