Verify domain ownership
You need to verify your domain—your business web address, like your-company.com—before you can start using Google Workspace services. This helps ensure no one else is using your domain without your permission (to send email, for example). If you purchased a domain when signing up for Google Workspace, you don't need to verify it.
If you’re using an email-verified account—for example, for Google Workspace Business or Essentials or Chrome Enterprise Upgrade—you can optionally verify your domain to unlock more features.
- Verify your domain for Google Workspace
- Verify your domain with a TXT record
- Verify your domain to unlock features (for business email accounts)
- Verify your domain (registrar-specific steps)
- Add a CNAME record to your domain's DNS records
- Set up Google Workspace with a third-party DNS host
- Verify your domain to unlock features (for Gmail accounts)
