Manage mobile devices
For Cloud Identity administrators, mobile device management offers the ability to monitor and manage Apple iOS devices. At the same time, it offers managed device users secure access to corporate apps and data, including Google mobile apps, and other apps. Setup and management with Cloud Identity are the same as for setting up basic Google Mobile Management for iOS devices, and managing those devices.
To manage your mobile devices for Cloud Identity:
- Set up mobile device management for your iOS mobile devices—When you set up management, choose the basic option. Basic management automatically enforces a device screen lock requirement for password protection, and displays your devices on the Manage devices page.
- Manage your iOS mobile devices from the Manage devices page—Search for devices, and check status and activity. View mobile device details on the General information page. See user details, compliance status, and managed apps.

Note: You can also get reports about device usage and events (for instructions, see Aggregate reports: View trends and administrative data), and you can manage active devices either in the Google Admin console or by using the Admin app from your own mobile device.
