TEMPORAL SOLUTION

I'm seeing a lot of people have this issue, i solved it using an insecure connection over port 25, just go to your alias, edit it, put your smtp pass and select port 25, unsecure connection.

I know this it not the best choice for a lot of you, but as this problem is not fixed and i need to keep working, i opted on doing that.

you should be using ssl 465 or  587  Tls  for  smtp.gmail.com

I have used all ports with proper password for my Network Solution hosted domain name.  Using port 25 in unsecured fashion works.  Using any port with same working password does not work if "secured". Networks Solution advises this as to do with Google.  This was working fine for past 6 years or so.  Why now all of sudden. Nothing changed on my side.

Testing TLS connections
Admins who want to require a secure TLS connection for emails can now verify that the connection to the recipient's mail server is valid simply by clicking on the “Test TLS Connection” button in the Admin console; they no longer need to wait for emails to bounce.

I am reseting from cero.
But now it does not recognize the password from my company account. I have done several times and  verified and it is OK.
So I not only I was receiving the error message after sending an email, but worse, I can´t even set up the company account in my gmail.

Here is Network Solutions reply, as they host my domain.

"I'm very sorry for the issues you are having. Our email is not compatible with gmail pop/imap set up. We would recommend setting up email on a regular pop/imap email client such as outlook or mail for mac."

I had the same problem. The solution is to get a SLS certificate for your mail server but make sure the the certificate is assigned to that specific mail server. Google used to allow a connection if any certificate was present. The made a change to be more strict, making sure the SLS cert is specific. So... you need a SLS cert designated for your mail server. That fixed the issue for me.
