If you don’t upgrade to a Google Workspace subscription, you will not lose access to other Google Services, including YouTube, Google Photos, and Google Play, nor paid content, including YouTube and Play Store purchases.

The links are working for me.
In short all consumer services will continue to work, however you will not have access those core GWS services that overlap with consumer apps. The exception being drive.

@Rob thank you for this, it is pretty helpful. So, assuming that I move my MX and CNAME records to another hosting provider, will all Google authentication methods still work? In particular:1) Android phones setup using the Google Workspace accounts will still authenticate to Google, and still have full access to Play store purchases under the same Google Workspace account name, without any migration needed to a gmail.com account?
Correct. You will still be able to authenticate and access that content. My understanding is the device management will cease to operate, if you are leveraging that aspect. Unlikely for personal use.
2) Oauth processes (both Google and third party sites using my Google identity) will still work fine using my Google Workspace account email addresses, even after my Google Workspace access is otherwise extinguished?
GWS identities will still be active and you will be able access third party sites and services.
Google has announced they will offer a transfer service, however details on this are light and it's not clear if this transfer will preserve OAuth ID that 3rd Parties will rely on. Hopefully it will, but I'm not getting my hopes up, as admins and users have been asking for this for 10+ years and nothing has eventuated.

3) Maybe same question as #2, but will that impact 2FA authentication for those accounts that are using Yubikey authentication under the "Advanced Protection Program" (one of my accounts is setup with the strict authentication requirement as Google identified the account as being at risk)? Or is that program a one of the GHS services that will be restricted post-termination?Recommend
Details on this haven't been shared with us. I expect it will remain, as it's a rather fundamental piece, being a security related feature. I'd be very surprised if that is restricted. But should it be you should be able to use CIF to preserve this functionality.

Unless Google adds/changes something before the cut-off date, all purchased items will be lost when your legacy account is closed.
Please use the in-product “Send feedback” link to submit your request/issue directly to Google. You will not receive a response from Google.

How will we get security notifications?
The security notifications will be sent to your new email provider.
What has been confirmed so far by Google.
What has been confirmed so far by Google.
- The actual Google account will remain active and you will be able to continue to login with the account.
- You will NOT be able to access the core GWS services.
- You CAN continue to access paid/free content within Google.
- You CAN continue to access Google consumer services, other than those that over lap with the core services. Such as Gmail.
- You CAN continue to access 3rd party sites with your Google identity.
- If you repoint your domain MX records to another email service, all the regular email, but any Google specific notifications and the like will be sent to that provider.
- If you enable CIF (Cloud Identity Free) on your account then you will retain access to;
- Google Drive (15GB) (excludes creating Shared Drives)
- Contacts
- Docs
- Sheets
- Forms
- Slides
- Google Apps Script
- Currents
- Sites
- Groups
- Meet (join only)
- Keep
What Google has promised (As per HCA articles);
- They will provide a transfer tool to move purchases and other Google Content/Data to a regular consumer account.
- They will be announcing further options for personal use (families) in the near future.
What we do not know at the stage;
- If the transfer tool will transfer the account GUID, so 3rd party sites will link to the new consumer (@gmail.com) account.
- If Drive storage licenses applied on top of the GWS drive product will be transferred to the consumer drive.

Google has also promised they will be offering a process to migrate your consumer based data to a consumer account. How and when that will arrived has not been confirmed.

One thing that would be really helpful in these conversations is to stop using internal technical or business names for things like, "GWS services", "consumer apps", "consumer data", etc. Google has a lot of services, and I could not name with confidence all the things that are GWS services vs all the things that are consumer apps or data. I'm sure most others could not either. Please be more explicit in saying what is safe and what will go away. i.e. Drive documents, Youtube video uploads, uploaded photos, Android apps.
I understand the terminology can be a challenge, but there is over a 100 different service offered by Google and exhaustively listing them or their features isn't practical or helpful.
GWS has Core Apps - The full list can be found here
GWS Cloud Identity Free - Covers these service and can be found here
Services outside those listed in the above articles are considered Consumer Apps (Services). That is they don't require a GWS license to access.

In 2019, Google decided to shut down the small service of Google Cloud print. But they gave well over a year to find alternative solutions...
Now, we've received 3(5) months notice to fix all of the extremely more serious issues above, not only for our own Google accounts, but also all other accounts that we manage (whether family members or employees) and plenty more issues than what I've listed above... And there are still not clear answers to many of them. Giving a stressfull questions of having to start making decision are start transferring processes before we really know what options we have, because we don't know if there will be enough time to do all the transfers and manual work needed when we do have all the answer (if ever).
I hope at the very least the July 1st deadline will be posponed soon.
And again, looking forward to answers to the above (please reference each answer to the numbers).
Many thanks in advance.

I've tried to go throug an overview of potential issues with several of the Google services that I use, and where I foresee serious issues or challenges with transferring to another Google (Gmail) account. Would appreciated comments and suggestions on as many of these as possible:
- Gmail: How to copy labels?
Labels are equivalent to folders. If you export your mailbox with takeout (mbox) the emails will be aligned into folders
- Drive & Docs: How can I expore revision history of documents?
Google docs are native to Google. you can only export revisions by reverting and copying.
- Drive & Docs: What happens to annual paid storage paid for longer than July 1st?
As I understand if you migrate to CIF you will retain the licenses. If yo do not use CIF, there is no service to access the increased storage license.
- Drive & Docs: Can we transfer ownership to Gmail accounts? And also for lots of files at once (entire folders and all content)
Not presently. But Google is providing a transfer tool. Otehr option is to bulk share and then make a copy of the documents in the dst account. Effectively the same.
- Drive & Docs: Downloading and upload Docs, Sheets, Slides does not work. Converted to MS Office,
Docs are native to Google. There is not export option. You need to convert to use in another program.
- Drive & Docs: How to transfer additional free storage that has been granted permanently through campaign? Will Google steal this?
No word on this yet.
- Calender: Possible to export past events? 10+ years back?
Yes Takeout will export you full calendar.
- Chat & Hangouts: How can we export and import chat logs?
Not possible AFAIK
- Keep: Impossible to change owner?
Not possible. Takeout and then manual import.
- Google Photos: How to transfer free storage? (uploaded with Pixel in full size or in compressed quality before 2021)
Export with takeout and reupload under low res option.
- Google Play: Downloaded apps on Android are linked to my account. Will they update when I remove my Workspace account?
The account will not be suspended. Only access to certain services will be removed. You will be able to continue to access Google paid content
- Google Play: Will Apps, Movies, Books, and all other purchased content be transferred?
See above
- Google Play: I've purched movies in different countries when I have lived in other countries. Content that is not currently available in my current country. Will this also be transferred?
See above
- Google Pay: Can I transfer transaction history? By law I believe transaction history need to be accessible for at least 10 years.
Depends on country. But see above.
- Google Pay: Can I transfer my Payments profiles to another account?
Not at the moment. Google have said they will provide a facility, but no details as yet.
- YouTube: How to transfer Favorites to another account?
Youtube will remain accessible, as with Google Play.
- YouTube Music: How can I transfer purchased songs?
See above
- YouTube Music: How can I download and re-upload song that I have uploaded in my current Workspace account to another account?
Takeout then reupload.
- YouTube Music: What happens to subscription after July 1st, when I've paid for longer?
See above
- Google Home & Chromecasts: How can I transfer my Home to a Gmail account?
Will continue to work. Cannot transfer. Need to resetup.
- Google Home & Chromecasts: How can I transfer configured Routines to another account?
AFAIK - Will continue to work. Cannot transfer. Need to resetup.
- Web and App Activity: I would like to keep my search history and Google Maps travel hisotry (places I've been) easily accessible also in my new Google account. How can I transfer this?
Not at the moment. Google have said they will provide a facility, but no details as yet.
- Google Authenticator: Are any codes backed up in my current account? And if so, how can I transfer them?
Google authenticator is not linked to a Google account. You can transfer with a QRcode
- Google Maps: How can I transfer my reviews?
Reviews will remain link to the original entity. Same as if you delete an account, those reviews remain.
The account will remain active and you will be able access and update. but I doubt they would be transferring this.
The account will remain active and you will be able access and update. but I doubt they would be transferring this.
- Google Maps: How can I transfer all my starred locations to another Google account?
Google takeout. Manually setup again :(
- Google Messages: How can I move all backed up messages to another account?
Takeout. Offline backup. No import possible AFAIK. Possibly handled with the transfer tool.
- Google Voice: How can I transfer my Google Voice number and balance to another Gmail account when I'm no longer in the US?
Unlikely. No information this at present.
- Third-Party App Backups: I have 3rd party apps that BackUp to Google Drive. How can I ensure my entire backup is transferred to Google Drive in a new account? (E.g. with WhatsApp)
No info at present.
- Google Chrome Sync: How can I transferres all my preferences, settings, passwords, and other data stored in my Chrome Browser, and allso on my Chromebook (such as all saved WiFi password) to another Google account?
No info at present. Probably in scope of transfer tool, being a common item people ask for.
- Google Cloud Platform: I'm using Google cloud on the same domain as my Workspace, and have among other servies a virtual machine running there. Is it possible to transfer my entire GCP account to another Gmail account (just like can be done with AdWords)?
The account will remain active. I doubt the transfer tool will tave this inscope.
- Individual storage: Related to Google Drive, I (and several of my users) have paid additional storage, and also additional free permanent storage on top of the 15GB standard in a new Gmail account. Will paid storage for after 1st July be refunded? And will additional free GBs be transferred to new accounts?
Have asked for information on this.
- Location History: How can I transfer this to my next Google account, so that it's just as easy to search and browse as today? (I don't want it in some XML file...)
Should be inscope of transfer tool. but no details as yet.
- Google Fit: How can I export and import my Google Fit data to another Google account?
See above. Would need to be a part of the transfer tool.
- Google Alerts: How can I download and transfer all my Alerts to a new account?
See above
- Google News: How can I transfer all my preferences and subscriptions?
See above
- Google News: How can I ensure the 100s of news sites I've blocked will also be blocked in my new account?
See above
- Google My Maps: How can I transfer ownership of Maps I've created?
See above.
- Google Podcasts: How can I transfer all the Podcasts I subscribe too?
- Google Podcasts: How can I transfer the history of Podcasts I've already listened to?
- Google AdSense: How can I transfer outstanding and unpaid balance in my account?
I'd imagine you need to consume it. The account will remain accessible.
- Phone and SMS Backup: How can I go about tranferring the backup of my entire Android phone and all settings, include phone history and SMS-messages to another account?
Takeout, or use one of the many tools on the play store - SMS backup - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.riteshsahu.SMSBackupRestorePro
