GW account suspended but do not know super administrator to know why - how to prove ownership
1
When trying to access my email last night the message "Your organization's Google Workspace account has been suspended". When I try to access my admin console I'm told my account "doesn't have permission to perform these steps. To continue, switch to a super administrator account". I do not know who who this is as was set up by family member years ago who is not around to help.

If I knew the email address of the account originally used to set-up the administrator account I could try to get someone to log into it, but I can not find out what that is. My "recovery" email address doesn't seem to give me access either.

Every message I send I get an automated reply saying I need to go through the super administrator. Eventually I get an automated email saying if I can not get hold of the super administrator I need to prove I own the domain by changing the DNS record:

DNS OWNERSHIP: please verify that you are the owner your primary Google Workspace/Cloud Identity domain by creating a CNAME record through your domain hosting provider

The CNAME record currently points my website so I'm really unsure about this. I can't get hold of any actual live person at Google to help me as it won't even let me generate a PIN for telephone support. Something must have expired but I've no idea what.

Surely there's another way to find out anything about what account may be the super administrator for my own domain name?

Hello,

You may create a new CNAME record and point to the verification code.

Thank you for the time to respond. Forgive me if this is an obvious question but I'm just not sure of the effect of changing the DNS record. If I go into my domain host and do that then it's not going to effect the domain name pointing to my website? (the CNAME is already pointed to my web store)?
