Google userIs it possible to add another domain, not a domain alias ?
1 Recommended AnswerHi all I am new to this. I am trying to add a domain to my current Google Apps Account. I got this account three years ago and I have a primary domain.
When I go to add a domain I only get the option of Add a domain Alias.
I have checked the support pages and there is suppose to be a dual option of add domain or add alias but I only see add alias.
I am doing something wrong?

Advisor Scarlett THi guys,
In the legacy free edition of Google Apps secondary domains are not supported. The legacy free edition of Google Apps only supports domain aliases.

LMckin51-G-Suite-Product ExpertHi
When you go to your admin control panel and click domains icon and go to the section where you add on domains or domain alias when you click the add domain or domain alias when the pop up windows come up do you get this window shown in this image below. if you get something different please provide a screen shot. also when you go to the pop up window you have to select the add another domain.

Tendi NoviandiYes looks like the facility to add new domain (not domain alias) is deleted for my legacy google apps free edition.

Google userHas there been any official announcement? Google has usually been very good about announcing when they are removing features from Free (legacy accounts)
What gives this time? Or is there another problem.

Michael CaswellRunning into this problem too... trying to add a new domain for our community orchestra, but only have the option to add a domain alias (which will not work for what I need to do).
In searching for solutions to this problem, in addition to discovering these threads, I also saw some mentions of people who are selling older "grandfathered" Google Apps free accounts. You buy one of these accounts for a one-time fee (prices range from $25 - $1499, depending on the number of users you want), and you get ownership of the domain and the associated Google Apps account, and you can then add your own domain to the account using the feature that we are all trying to use now.
I wonder if perhaps the removal of this feature is Google's response to this practice of people selling these accounts.
If so, it really sucks to slam the door on legitimate users like this with no warning.

CJ PaulYup. Google has the rights to do anything. Unfortunately free stuff can't demand much, I guess we have to live with it. I have 200 accounts and can't continue to add domain I have purchased.
