jeff.earls,

Started today you can transition your Google apps account into a full Google apps account that include access to Google accounts products.  so check your control panel for a Transition wizard.

Now don't I feel foolish - found "Groups" under "Add more services". I guess the "user-managed" was throwing me off; or I have serious cognition problems. Thanks for making me look again.

I do *not* find "Groups" under "Add more services". In fact, since the transition, I am unable to use Groups. This is kind of a disaster for me.

noel_bush,

If you are using the standard edition then it is not under your Add more service and if you have transition your account  you access the groups at  http://groups.google.com

Did you have any previous membership in Google Groups under another account.

Levels

Member levels indicate a user's level of participation in a forum. The greater the participation, the higher the level. Everyone starts at level 1 and can rise to level 10. These activities can increase your level in a forum:

  • Post an answer.
  • Having your answer selected as the best answer.
  • Having your post rated as helpful.
  • Vote up a post.
  • Correctly mark a topic or post as abuse.

Having a post marked and removed as abuse will slow a user's advance in levels.
