You can let users automatically accept chat invitations from other people in your organization. Otherwise, users have to manually accept invitations from new contacts by default.

Sign in with a super administrator account to the Google Admin console.
If you aren’t using a super administrator account, you can’t complete these steps.

Go to Menu
Apps > Google Workspace > Google Chat.
Requires having the Service Settings administrator privilege.
- Click Chat Invitations.
- (Optional) Under Organizational Units, select the organizational unit you want to apply settings to. By default, the setting applies to your entire organization.
- Select On or Off.
- Click Save.
