Automatically accept chat invitations

You can let users automatically accept chat invitations from other people in your organization. Otherwise, users have to manually accept invitations from new contacts by default. 

  1. Sign in with a super administrator account to the Google Admin console.

    If you aren’t using a super administrator account, you can’t complete these steps.

  2. Click Chat Invitations.
  3. (Optional) Under Organizational Units, select the organizational unit you want to apply settings to. By default, the setting applies to your entire organization.
  4. Select On or Off.
  5. Click Save.
