Access to YouTube during your G Suite trial

This article is for YouTube settings in G Suite.

If you recently signed up for G Suite, your users might see the message, “This account is not yet eligible to use YouTube", even if YouTube is turned in your Google Admin console.

Limited access is temporary

You and your users can use all features of YouTube when:

  • You’ve owned your G Suite account for at least 30 days

  • Your G Suite account has been billed for at least USD $30 (or equivalent in your currency). This amount doesn’t include the cost to purchase your domain.

If you’ve had your account for 30 days and you signed up for G Suite directly from Google: You can make an early payment or pay for more G Suite users accounts to access all YouTube features. After you make the payment, it might take up to 48 hours before features are available.

Note: This billing requirement does not apply to G Suite for Education and G Suite for Nonprofit editions.

Why is access limited?

To keep our systems healthy, we have minimum requirements for G Suite accounts to upload videos, add comments, create a channel, and other actions that require being signed into an account.
