From the security health page, you can monitor the configuration of the G Suite Marketplace applications usage setting.

G Suite Marketplace applications usage

You can choose which third-party apps that users can install from the G Suite Marketplace. For more details, see the table below.

Status

Specifies how many domains where the following option is not configured:
Do not allow users to install any application from G Suite Marketplace

Recommendation

Do not allow users to install any applications from G Suite Marketplace. This reduces data leak, data exfiltration, and malicious insider risks.

How to configure this setting

  1. In the Google Admin console, go to Apps > Marketplace apps.

  2. Click Action menu, select Manage Apps, and click Manage Access to apps.

  3. Select Do not allow users to install any application from G Suite Marketplace.

Effect on your users

Users will not be able to install any applications from G Suite Marketplace.
