Monitor the health of your Calendar settings
From the security health page, you can monitor the configuration of the Calendar sharing policy setting.
Calendar sharing policy
By default, primary calendars are not shared outside of your domain(s). You have the option to change this configuration in your Calendar settings. For more details, see the table below.
Setting | Calendar sharing policy |
Status |
Specifies how many organizational units where the Calendar sharing policy is not set to Only free/busy information |
Recommendation |
Restrict external calendar sharing to only show free/busy status. This reduces the risk of data leaks. |
How to configure this setting |
In the Google Admin console, go to Apps > G Suite > Calendar > Sharing settings. Under External sharing options for primary calendars, select Only free/busy information (hide event details). For more details and instructions, see Set calendar sharing options. |
Effect on your users |
Users will not be able to share information in Calendars with users of an external domain. |
