As a G Suite administrator, you can track Currents user activity in the audit log. For example, you might want to review when a user creates or deletes a post.
From the Admin console Home page, go to Reports.
- On the left, under Audit, click Currents.
(Optional) To customize what you review, on the right, click Manage columns , select the columns that you want to see or hide, and click Save.
Review ways to filter and export log data and create alerts.
Data you can view
Currents audit logs provide the following information:
|Event name||Action the user performed, such as creating or deleting posts.|
|Event description||Summary of the event, such as “Jane created a public post.”|
|User||Email address of the user who triggered the event.|
|Date||Date and time the event occurred (displayed in your browser's default time zone).|
|Post visibility||Visibility of the post associated with the event. One of the following:
|Attachment type||Type of attachment on a post or comment, such as Post, Media, Album, Link, Poll, or Google Drive Object.|
|Thumbs up context||Where a thumbs up was added or removed from, either post or comment.|
|Post permalink||Permanent hyperlink to the post associated with the event.|
|Post resource name||Unique identifier of the post associated with the event.|
|Comment resource name||Unique identifier of the comment associated with the event.|
Event name descriptions
At Add a filter, select an Event name to filter data for that event. The audit report shows log entries for each time the particular event occurred during the time range that you set. Most event names are self-explanatory.
