Retract an email you just sent
Notice a typo in your email? Forget to add a recipient? Change your mind about sending a message? If you turn on Undo Send, you can retract an email you just sent using the Undo Send feature.
To turn on Undo Send:
- On your computer, open Gmail.
- In the top right, click Settings Settings.
- In the Undo Send section, next to Send cancellation period, set the amount of time you want to decide if you want to unsend an email.
- At the bottom of the page, click Save Changes. After you send a message, you'll see the option to Undo or View the message.
