G Suite editions

This feature is available with the G Suite Enterprise or Business or Basic edition.

Users of all G Suite editions can start and join Meet video calls, and use most features within the meeting.  Some advanced features are available to G Suite Enterprise users only.

Note: Meet is enabled by default for new G Suite customers. Organizations that use classic Hangouts video calls can enable Meet in the Google Admin console. Administrators can choose to turn off Meet video meetings for the domain or for organizational units within it, whenever they want. 

Required G Suite services

If your organization joined G Suite after March 2017, Meet is turned on for your users. G Suite organizations that previously used classic Hangouts video calls may need to turn on Meet.
