Transfer site ownership

This article is for administrators of the new Google Sites ("Publish" button at the top right). Get administrator help for the classic Google Sites.

You can transfer ownership of a site file to a different user just like other Docs. For example, if you’re a G Suite super administrator, or an administrator with both the Drive service privilege and the Data Transfer privilege, you can transfer all documents owned by one user to the ownership of another user in your organization.

To transfer ownership of individual documents from one user to another, you can use the Drive API or users can transfer ownership of individual documents themselves.

See Transfer ownership of Drive documents for more information.
