Migrate from Outlook to Google Workspace

Here's how you can import your organization’s email, calendar, contacts, and other data from Microsoft Outlook to Gmail in Google Workspace.

Before you begin

To make sure your organization gets messages sent to old accounts during the migration to Google Workspace, tell your users to set up automatic email forwarding in Outlook. For details, consult your Microsoft documentation.

Next, to receive new Outlook messages in Gmail follow the steps under Check emails from other accounts.

Import options

If you want to...	Then use...
Allow your users to migrate their own email, calendar, and contact data.	Google Workspace Migration for Microsoft Outlook (GWMMO) Set up GWMMO for your organization. Must be a super admin to use this product. Instruct your users on how to run GWMMO.
Migrate email, calendar, and contact data on behalf of your users from PST archives.	Google Workspace Migration for Microsoft Exchange (GWMME) Migrate data from PST files. Must be a super admin to use this product.
	For 1–20 users only: Set up GWMMO for your organization. Must be a super admin to use this product. Instruct your users on how to run GWMMO.
Let your users keep using Outlook and synchronize their email, calendars, contacts, notes, and task data with their Google Workspace account.	Google Workspace Sync for Microsoft Outlook (GWSMO)
