Canned responses not shared across a group

Google Groups for Business lets individual users create canned responses in much the same way that Gmail does. These canned responses can't be shared between members of a group. Each person in the group must create and maintain their own set of canned responses.

Before using canned responses, verify the following

  • A Group manager has enabled canned responses for the user in the Group's posting permissions
  • The user has enabled canned responses in their global settings
  • The user composes their messages in the Groups for Business user interface
