How users can migrate their own data

In some cases, your users can migrate their own mail, contacts, and calendar data from the legacy environment (where you're migrating data from). Delegating the migration to users works well if most of your legacy data is stored locally, and it's commonly used when your legacy system uses the POP mail protocol. Users can migrate data at their own pace and without technical expertise. Training and support is provided.

The migration tools listed below are for individual users to run, although some of them need to be set up by an administrator. For tools that are run completely by an administrator and require no user input, see Migrate your organization’s data to G Suite.
