3: Organize your email with labels

You can use Labels   to organize your email just like folders, while still displaying messages side by side. For example, when you add a brightly colored label, it’s easy to see related messages. Plus, you can add more than one label to a message.

To add a new label, select a message and at the top of the email list, click Labels   and then click Create new at the bottom of the list. Your label appears in the list on the left.

To assign your label a color, find your label on the left, click More then choose a color.
