Dear {user},

We're excited to announce Google Drive, a way to access and share all your files and folders, at any time and on any device.

What is Google Drive?

Think of Google Drive as your personal stash of files and folders that follows you wherever you go—it lets you keep everything and share anything. With Google Drive, you can access files, folders, and Google documents (such as Docs, Sheets, and Slides) from a web browser or any mobile device where you've installed Google Drive.

How do I try out Google Drive?

  1. Visit Google Drive on the web at

  2. Download and install the Google Drive on your Mac/PC application. This lets you sync files from your hard drive to Google Drive on the web, giving you access to your files on any device, at any time. Customize this step for your organization. For example, send users to your administrator or Help desk if you don't want them to install this themselves, or remove the step entirely if you use the .msi file to deploy Google Drive.

  3. Sync and upload existing files to Drive.

  4. Set up offline access to Google Drive. Remove this step if you haven't enabled offline access for Chrome users in your organization.

  5. [Optional] If you'd like to access your files on your Android or iOS device, see Google Drive on a mobile device.

How much storage do I have for my Google Drive files?

You have {15 GB | 30 GB | unlimited storage} to use for Drive, Gmail, and photos. If you need more storage, you can purchase additional storage on your own, or contact your administrator. Describe how you want your users to buy or request storage. See Options for adding storage to learn more.
