Add advanced contact information
Your Global Address List in Outlook includes all users, groups, shared contacts, and resources defined for your G Suite account. As users are added to G Suite, they'll automatically appear in Outlook.
In addition, as a G Suite account administrator you can add contacts or customize fields using these tools:
- Shared Contacts API. This API allows client applications to retrieve and update external contacts that are shared with all users in a G Suite domain. All other Google services you're using have access to this contact list, as well.
- Google Cloud Directory Sync can be used to configure Shared Contacts based on fields available in your organization's LDAP server, such as Microsoft Active Directory or Lotus Domino.
- G Suite Marketplace offers yet another way to add custom fields. Use the Marketplace to find business-oriented applications that integrate easily with G Suite.
