Sign in to your Admin console

Sign in to your Google Admin console to activate services, add users, configure features, and more. Follow the standard sign-in instructions unless your domain uses Single Sign-On (SSO) or you want to sign into a reseller domain. If you have problems signing in, use the Admin console troubleshooter.

In January 2014, we will begin releasing a new, streamlined sign-in page for all Google Apps services. The rollout will complete by March 1, 2014. Domains may continue to see the deprecated sign-in screen until that time.

Standard sign-in

To sign in to a domain without SSO:

  1. Point your browser to admin.google.com. The URL redirects you to the Google accounts sign-in page.
  2. Enter your administrator account email address (including username and domain) and password.
  3. Click Sign in. The Admin console appears.

SSO-enabled domains

Super administrators

To sign in to an SSO-enabled domain as a super administrator:

  1. Point your browser to admin.google.com. The URL redirects you to the Google accounts sign-in page.
  2. Enter your full administrator account email address (including username and domain) and password.
  3. Click Sign in. The Admin console appears.

Users who are not super administrators (such as delegated administrators)

To sign in to an SSO-enabled domain without a network mask or from outside of the network mask range:

  1. Point your browser to admin.google.com. The URL redirects you to the Google accounts sign-in page.
  2. Enter your Google email address. Do not enter your password.
  3. Click Sign in. Your SSO server sign-in page appears.
If you enter your password and click Sign in, the page removes your password and requires you to click Sign in again.
  4. Sign in to your SSO server with the username and password your SSO administrator provides. After you sign in, the SSO server directs you to the Admin console.

To sign in to an SSO-enabled domain from inside your domain's network mask IP range:

  1. Point your browser to admin.google.com. The URL redirects you to the Google accounts sign-in page.
  2. Enter your full administrator account email address (including username and domain) and password.
  3. Click Sign in. The Admin console appears.

Resellers and resold domains

If you're a reseller and you want to sign into a resold domain:

  1. Point your browser to admin.google.com/<resold_domain>. The URL redirects you to the Google accounts sign-in page.
  2. Enter your reseller or resold domain account email address (including username and domain) and password.
  3. Click Sign in. The Admin console appears.

Notes

  • The Admin console supports multiple sign-in.
  • If you're already signed in to another Google app, such as Gmail, you can access the Admin console without signing in again. Just select Admin from the grid at the top of the page.
  • When users without administrator privileges try to sign in, the Admin console redirects them to the user hub. The user hub provides quick access to the Google Apps and services they have permission to use, but does not let them access administration features.
  • When you point your browser to admin.google.com, the page redirects you to accounts.google.com. Other Google sign-in pages, such as www.google.com/a/domain.com and gmail.com, work the same way.
  • If you attempt to sign in to the Admin Console with an invalid account (e.g. @gmail.com), you will see the following message: "Sign into a different account to access Google Admin."
