Google Workspace Migration for Microsoft Outlook

As an administrator for your organization, you can use Google Workspace Migration for Microsoft Outlook (GWMMO) to let your users import mail, calendar events, and personal contacts from a Microsoft Exchange account or a local PST file to a Google Workspace account. You can migrate data on behalf of a single user using the command-line version of the product.

What data can users import?

  • Mail, calendar, and contact data (all at once or in separate stages)
  • Mail sent before or after a specific date

What can you exclude from a migration?

  • Junk mail and deleted items
  • Specific mail folders for a single user (admins only, from the command-line version)
