Sign in using your administrator account (does not end in @gmail.com).

  2. From the Admin console dashboard, go to Appsand thenG Suiteand thenGmailand thenAdvanced settings.

Tip: To see Advanced settings, scroll to the bottom of the Gmail page.

  3. Under End User Settings, Name format, choose the option First, Last or Last, First.
  4. To establish this setting for all users in your domain, clear the check box: Allow users to customize this setting. Check the box to allow your users to choose their preferred name format.

Note: It may take up to one hour before name format changes are effective for all users.
