Renew a customer's account

For customers on either version of the Annual Plan, the default renewal option for customer accounts is "Switch to Flexible Plan." If you want to change this setting, go to your reseller console and select a customer.

Note: Before the renewal date, you can change renewal options with no impact to the customer's account. If you're in a 30 day trial and want to convert, see 30 day free trial details for resellers.

The renewal options are slightly different depending on your payment plan. Please select the correct option below for details.

Annual Plan (Monthly Payments)
  • Auto-renew my contract — On the renewal date, you are begin a new 12 month subscription for this account's number of user licenses. Notifications are sent automatically to you and to the customer 30 days and 3 days before the renewal date. For information about ordering additional licenses, see Ordering additional user accounts using the reseller tools.

    Note: If by contract you are limited to a specific number of users allowed in each customer's domain, the number of licenses can not go over this limit.

  • Reduce my contract — Use this option if you want to renew your annual number of licenses to be the same as your existing users. For example, for a customer account that currently has 50 licenses of which 45 are registered to existing users, the renewed number of licenses is 45.
  • Auto-renew my contract with yearly payments — On the renewal date, you are begin a new 12 month subscription for this account's number of user licenses, but you will switch from monthly payments to a single yearly payment. Notifications are sent automatically to you and to the customer 30 days and 3 days before the renewal date. You will be charged for all licenses for the entire year at the end of the first month of the renewed contract.
  • Reduce my contract and renew with yearly payments — Use this option if you want to renew your annual number of licenses to be the same as your existing users and switch from monthly payments to a single yearly payment. You will be charged for all your user accounts for the entire year at the end of the first month of the renewed contract.
  • Switch to Flexible PlanThis is the default setting. A non-automatic renewal will switch the customer from either version of the Annual Plan to the Flexible Plan at the end of the subscription period. See Reseller non-automatic renewal details.
  • Cancel my service at the end of my term — Service for this customer will be suspended when the subscription period ends. See Reseller suspending and resetting a customer for information on suspensions.
