Check the current status of a G Suite service

You can use the G Suite Status Dashboard to check the current status of core G Suite services, such as Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Meet.

The dashboard shows the current status for each service, and any recent outages or disruptions. Click on a notification icon for more information about the issue, including an estimate of when it might be resolved.

Click the status circle to view details for that date

A final update is posted when the issue is resolved.

Subscribe to the G Suite Status Dashboard RSS feed

To get outage alerts even if your Gmail service is interrupted, we recommend subscribing to the G Suite Status Dashboard RSS feed:

  1. Go to the the G Suite Status Dashboard.
  2. Click RSS Feed at bottom right and copy the feed URL.
  3. Add the G Suite Status Dashboard feed in your RSS reader.   

Set up automatic email alerts for G Suite apps outages

You can receive email alerts whenever there's a new, updated, or resolved outage on the G Suite Status Dashboard. You can do this by setting up a system-defined rule on the Security rules page. Follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to your Google Admin console.

    Sign in using your administrator account (does not end in @gmail.com).

  2. Click Menu "" and select Securityand thenSecurity rules.
  3. Click Apps outage alert.
  4. Click EDIT RULE.
  5. Click NEXT: VIEW CONDITIONS.
  6. Click NEXT: ADD ACTIONS.
  7. Check the Send email notifications box.
  8. (Optional) To set up the rule to send email alerts to super administrators in your organization, check the All super administrators box.
  9. (Optional) To set up the rule to send email alerts to specific people, click Add email recipients, enter the usernames, and click DONE.
  10. Click NEXT: REVIEW.
  11. Click UPDATE RULE.
