As the IT administrator for your organization, you can create default access settings for meetings within your organization. Users can change these settings for meetings they create.
Select default settings for joining Meet meetings
You can set defaults for both whether people have to ask to join a meeting and whether people can join a meeting before a host.

Sign in to your Google Admin console.
Sign in using your administrator account (does not end in @gmail.com).

In the Admin console, go to Menu AppsGoogle WorkspaceGoogle Meet.

Click Meet safety settings.

To apply the setting to everyone, leave the top organizational unit selected. Otherwise, select a child organizational unit.

Click Joining and select an Access type.

Check or uncheck the Host must join before anyone else can join box.

Click Save. If you configured an organizational unit or group, you might be able to either Inherit or Override a parent organizational unit, or Unset a group.Changes can take up to 24 hours but typically happen more quickly. Learn more
