The Jamboard 55-inch whiteboard device will reach its end of life on October 1, 2024, following its automatic update expiration (AUE) date of September 30, 2024.

Can I use the device after the auto expiration date?
You and your users can continue using Jamboard devices with full functionality until September 30, 2024.
Starting October 1, 2024, your devices will be put into unlicensed mode. You and your users will not be able to save or open a jam or access Meet from the board. You can use the whiteboard offline after that date, but you won't be able to save to Google Drive or use features that rely on internet access like the AI drawing tool.

How do I use the device after the auto expiration date?
To use the whiteboard offline, make sure your devices are up-to-date before September 30, 2024.
Can I still manage Jamboard devices from the admin console?
On October 1, 2024, all Jamboard settings will be removed from the Admin console. If needed, you should export any Jamboard device logs before then. For instructions, go to Jamboard log events.
What happens to my Jamboard license?
Licenses that were renewed between October 1, 2023, and October 1, 2024, will be prorated to September 30, 2024. After that date, licenses can no longer be renewed for the Jamboard device.
Can I still use the Jamboard web & mobile apps?
No. Starting October 1, 2024, you can no longer create or modify Jams. Export all your old Jams before the end of 2024, because you won't be able to access them after that. Learn how to Export your Jams.
