To use Poly devices for Google Meet meetings, add the Poly device to your organization's Google Workspace account as a Meet hardware device. A Meet hardware license is required.
Before you begin
- Make sure you have a Meet hardware license for the device.
For details, see Licensing FAQ. - Sign in to the Google Admin console to accept the latest Google Meet hardware Terms of Service.
- Create an enrollment code for your Poly device.
- Log in to your Poly system web interface.
- Select Meet as the provider.
- Copy the code displayed on the screen.

Supported devices
You can use Poly Studio X30, Studio X50/X52, and Studio X70 devices as Meet hardware devices.
Meet feature support on Poly devices
When used as Meet hardware, Poly devices support most meeting features to provide the full Meet experience.
Meet features not currently supported on Poly devices include:
- Some inherited Google Meet settings
- Frame Participants (but you can select other framing options using Poly framing)
- Meet hardware peripherals
- The ability to present using an HDMI connected from a laptop to the Poly device
- Spoken feedback on the controller
Note: Some admin settings are not supported by Poly devices and it is recommended that admins use the Poly System Web Interface. For more information, go to Unsupported admin settings for non-ChromeOS device models.
Enroll your Poly device as a Meet hardware device
Create a room where the device is located

In the Admin console, go to Menu DirectoryBuildings and resources.

In the Resources section, click Add a resource .
- Under Category, select Meeting space.
- Enter the room information.

Assign a room or personal calendar to the device
When the room or person is added to a Google Calendar event, the meeting name appears on the device screen. Users can tap the event name to join the meeting. You can associate a room calendar with one device or a personal calendar with multiple devices.

Sign in to your Google Admin console.
Sign in using your administrator account (does not end in @gmail.com).

Go to Menu DevicesGoogle Meet hardwareDevices.
- Select a device name.
If you don’t see the device, scroll down the list to find it. You might need to go to the next page or further to find the device. - Under Calendar, click Assign calendar.
If a calendar is already assigned, the Assign calendar option is not shown. - Select Room calendar and select the room where the device is located.
- Click Save.
