Make a Voice user a ring group manager

To let someone else in your organization act as a Google Voice ring group manager, such as assigning members to the ring group or setting up outbound call rules, give them the ring group management role.

Note: Managers must have a Google Voice license and phone number before they can access the Google Voice web app.

Assign ring group managers to a ring group

  1. Sign in with an administrator account to the Google Admin console.

If you aren’t using an administrator account, you can’t access the Admin console.

  2. Click Ring Groups.
  3. Click the ring group you want to assign a manager to.
  4. Click Managers.
  5. Click Total.
  6. Under Find users, enter the usernames of the managers you want to assign to this ring group.
  7. Click Save.
