Make a Voice user a ring group manager

To let someone else in your organization act as a Google Voice ring group manager, such as assigning members to the ring group or setting up outbound call rules, give them the ring group management role.

Note: Managers must have a Google Voice license and phone number before they can access the Google Voice web app.

Assign ring group managers to a ring group

  1. Sign in to your Google Admin console.

    Sign in using your administrator account (does not end in @gmail.com).

  2. In the Admin console, go to Menu and then Appsand thenGoogle Workspaceand thenGoogle Voice.
  3. Click Ring Groups.
  4. Click the ring group you want to assign a manager to.
  5. Click Managers.
  6. Click Total.
  7. Under Find users, enter the usernames of the managers you want to assign to this ring group.
  8. Click Save.
