Google Apps is now G Suite. Same service, new name. More about the name change.

Cancel your G Suite subscription

If you no longer want to use G Suite with your domain, cancel your G Suite subscription. Your service will stop within 24 hours. You’ll be charged for your final costs within 31 days.

Before you begin

  • Make sure your Google billing account has a valid primary payment method that we can charge for your final automatic payment. If necessary, fix a declined payment method.
  • Cancel any other active subscriptions, such as Google Vault. You need to cancel them before you can cancel your G Suite subscription.
  • Are you signed up for business email, powered by G Suite? Did you unlock additional features? If so, when you stop your paid subscription for G Suite, you'll lose access to the personal Gmail account that you used to sign up for your business email service. You can retain a domain you purchased when you signed up by transferring it to Google Domains.

Cancel your subscription

  1. Sign in to your Google Admin console.

Sign in using your administrator account (does not end in @gmail.com).

  2. From the Admin console dashboard, go to Billing.
  3. Next to your G Suite subscription, click More More and then Cancel subscription.
  4. If you’re on the Annual Plan, you'll see a calculation of your closeout charge. This is the value of the remainder of your annual contract. As per the terms of the Annual Plan, you’re responsible for paying the full amount of your annual contract, even if you cancel your subscription before the contract is over.
  5. If you’re not using your domain with any other Google services, delete your domain's Google Account. You must also do this to reuse your domain with another Google Account.

Questions?

When is my final payment?

If you have any unpaid costs in your account, we'll automatically charge your primary payment method within 31 days after you cancel your subscription.

Note: Your final charge includes unpaid costs that accrue before you cancel. Depending on your subscription, it also includes any costs that might accrue after you cancel.

Where can I see my unpaid costs?
  1. Sign in to your Google Admin console.

Sign in using your administrator account (does not end in @gmail.com).

  2. From the Admin console dashboard, go to Billing.
  3. Next to your G Suite subscription, click More More and then Access billing account.
  4. Under Transactions, click View Transactions.
  5. Check the Current balance to see your total unpaid costs. For a detailed breakdown of your unpaid costs, scan individual transactions.

Note: You haven't yet been charged for any costs that are dated after your last payment. You can also see if any costs accrued after your service was canceled—just look for entries that occur after your service stopped.

Can you refund my credit?

Of course! If you have funds remaining after canceling your subscription, contact us to request a refund
