Switching currency after account setup
In most cases, if you've already selected the billing currency and country for your Google Apps account, it isn't possible to switch to another currency or country. The currency and country you select applies to both billing and payments. That is, if you select U.S. dollars, payment will be requested and accepted only in U.S. dollars.
However, if your business address is in India, you may be able to switch your currency from U.S. dollars to Indian Rupees. To check your eligibility for the currency switch:
- Sign in to the Google Admin console.
- Click Billing.
- Click the + (plus sign) next to Google Apps for Business.
- If you see a Change link next to your currency, you are eligible to switch currencies.
After changing your currency, your existing subscription will be cancelled and a new subscription will be created with the new currency. Any remaining charges on your subscription with the older currency will get charged on your existing credit card. You will be charged for the new subscription from the day of the change. You will have access to the billing history of the older subscription.
Once you switch, you cannot go back to using the older currency.
