Print and send debit authorization

This FAQ applies to all customers who choose to pay by bank account (also called direct debit) except for those with business addresses in the United States or United Kingdom. If you're in the U.S., you'll need to verify a test deposit instead. If you're in the UK, you'll need to send an electronic authorization instead.

To print and send a copy of your debit authorization:

  1. Sign in to the Google Admin console
  2. Click Billing > Access billing account. Where is it? 
  3. Click the Billing settings link on the left-hand side of the page.
  4. Find your bank account.
  5. Click Print debit authorization.
  6. For security reasons, you'll need to re-enter your bank account information.
  7. Sign and date the printed debit authorization.
  8. Send us your debit authorization. The details of this step vary based on the country of your billing address:
    • My billing address is in Austria, Germany, Italy, Netherlands or Spain
      You can send us a scanned copy of your debit authorization using this form. Alternatively, you may fax or mail your authorization to us at the address indicated on the authorization form. In some locations, you will have the option to use fax. If this is the case for you, a fax number will be provided.
    • My billing address is in France
      Mail your signed and dated debit authorization, along with a valid RIB form from your bank, to Google at the address indicated on the document.
    • My billing address is in another country
      Fax or mail your signed and dated debit authorization to Google at the address indicated on the document. In some locations, you will have the option to use fax. If this is the case for you, a fax number will be provided.

After we receive your debit authorization, it usually takes five business days to process. We'll send you an email once we've processed it. At that point, we'll begin debiting payments from the bank account specified on your debit authorization, and your service will typically start running, if it wasn't already.

If we haven't received your debit authorization within 14 days after you add a bank account, we'll let you know by email. In that case, please resend your debit authorization.

You can also check the status of your debit authorization by following these steps:

  1. Sign in to the Google Admin console
  2. Click Billing > Access billing account. Where is it? 
  3. Click the Billing settings link on the left-hand side of the page.
  4. Find your bank account. It will show one of the following notifications:
    • We haven't received or processed your authorization yet: We either haven't received or haven't processed your debit authorization. If at least ten days have passed, please resend your debit authorization.
    • Invalid account details: The bank account details you entered are incorrect. Please contact your bank to confirm these details, and re-enter them. Then, create another debit authorization (start again at the first step on this page) and send it to us.
