Turn Time Insights on or off for users

As an administrator, you control whether users have access to Time Insights, a dashboard in Google Calendar. It shows users metrics, such as how much time they spend in meetings and who they meet with the most. If you don’t think that your users can or should use this information, you can turn off Time Insights. 

  1. Sign in to your Google Admin console.

    Sign in using your administrator account (does not end in @gmail.com).

  2. In the Admin console, go to Menu and then Appsand thenGoogle Workspaceand thenCalendar.
  3. Click Advanced settings.
  4. Optional: To apply the setting to a department or team, at the side, select an organizational unit.
  5. In the Time Insights section, select Let users view analytics about their time allocation.
  6. Click Save. Or, you might click Override for an organizational unit.

    To later restore the inherited value, click Inherit
